The next Call of Duty, listed as “Advanced Warfare”, will hit consoles and PC on November 4th, 2014.
Packing in technology far into the future, Call of Duty is now gunning for the fans of Titanfall with human augmentation becoming a prominent feature in the series. A far cry from the first days of 1942 combat, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will pack heat with exoskeletons, hoverbikes, and larger mech suits.
Where former titles in the series were always noted for their controversial portrayal of the United States of America bringing a big dose of “freedom” to any country that opposed them, Advanced Warfare focuses on active contracted military around the globe. While playing the biggest role in modern combat, Advanced Warfare will put allegiance to the test as no man fights for any country – just the dollar. These Private Military Corporations [PMC] take hold in developer Sledgehammer’s scenario of the future in combat, not far flung from active combat in today’s world, if their hype trailer is to be believed.
Look for the next Call of Duty title this November 4th on Xbox One, PS4, PC and more!
