The team behind the critically acclaimed PlayStation Plus launch game Resogun may be coming back to PlayStation Plus for March around the world – though their next IP is only confirmed for a free Asian release.

Dead Nation may have been rumored for launch on the PlayStation Plus program a week ago, but it was not until today that PlayStation Blog Asia confirmed developer Housemarque’s return. What will be launched as presumably a re-work of the 2010 PlayStation 3 title, Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition is extremely likely to feature in the global PlayStation Plus program, along with Tomb Raider and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on the PlayStation 3, and Smart As, as well as Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD on Vita.

Expect to fight off zombie hordes, should this probability come true, as cooperative gameplay drove the original title through a two versus the world zombocalypse. Environments in the original iteration placed players in urban settings – look for more of the same in the remake as Housemarque teased this title just last year in the Resogun video below.
