As the second series of real-world vehicles hits the world of Rocket League, Fast and Furious films are enjoying the limelight of a three year top selling title. Will this mean a future full of cars from our every day lives? Let’s strap a rocket to them and find out.
Putting a sequel on the success of the first DLC, Fast and Furious will be making a call back to the first movies in the series, as the 1970 Dodge Charger and 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R make their mark once again. Available in their original styling, and with a multitude of decals not from the movie, check out the video below for a quick look.
The ’70 Charger will play similar to that of the Dominus – as they clearly have similar design cues. The 1999 Skyline however will not operate as any other vehicle in the game today. Psyonics specifically called the hitbox a “hybrid”, but not of which vehicles, so we’ll all need a hands-on to be sure if we love it or could do without. Each vehicle will be available for $1.99 as is customary, and will release on October 11th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 – later to release on Switch during “this holiday season.”
