Released just hours ago by publisher 2K Sports, NBA 2K’s latest trailer shows how the game’s immersion will reach even deeper this year as their best-selling NBA title reaches PS4 and Xbox One for the second time.
Starting off the show this year, we’ll see appearances from host Ernie Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal from the “NBA on TNT” discussing the pregame analysis of each match. While your pregame show will improve a bit as displayed in the trailer, our mid-game changes a bit as well with the inclusion of cheerleaders and mascots in the next 2K title. Crowd noise and immersion will also improve from last year, as fans will now shout “three!” when you make a three-point shot, as opposed to the nearly singular cheering of crowds last year, which only spoke up when they felt you were the outright MVP at the foul line.
Check out the two minute trailer below, and look for NBA 2K15 on October 7th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC.
