If you’re a physical type of gamer and you have to buy a game on disk, Nintendo has a treat coming. The mash-up style retro title NES Remix is coming to retail with both NES Remix and NES Remix 2 included in the package.

While the title in its physical version has been on offer in Japan for a while, the Western release was previously only available digitally. Containing a nice grouping of mini games based around the original Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Punch-Out, Kirby, and Super Mario Brothers titles, this mash up is great for those looking for the retro experience in a new way on the Wii U console. Featuring new ways to play the old titles, such as “spotlight” running a level of Mario without seeing the world around you, NES Remix is enjoyable and great to see in this permanent physical version.

No official release date has been given to the Western release of NES Remix, but we’ll let you know when it comes down the pipe.
