Capcom’s coming release of the latest Ace Attorney title will, for the first time in the series, not feature Phoenix Wright, according to the new announcement trailer.
Set to launch once again on the 3DS platform, only a Japanese version of Ace Attorney can be confirmed to this point, given that the only content released thus far is not meant for a Western audience. The new title “Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken” will feature an Ace Attorney of the Meji period, at the late 1800’s through early 1900’s.
Featuring the new title character Naruhodou Ryuunosuke, Phoenix Wright’s ancestor, this Ace Attorney is quick to put himself in harm’s way and has a fine sense for justice, just as Ace Wright has in former titles. Development for the new Ace title continues under the oversight of series creator Shu Takumi, though no word of a Western release or official details have hit the street.
