With a slight move of their release date, Project CARS will now come to market just a bit after previously announced according to an official press release.
Working in partnership with BANDAI NAMCO, Project CARS developer Slightly Mad Studios announced an April 2nd, 2015 release date for their upcoming racing simulation title. Scheduled for launch on PS4, Xbox One and the PC, Project CARS has been one of a short list in flagship racing sims announced on the highest end of consoles at market. Moving the release date, while no new trick for Slightly Mad, has been executed for the sake of polish. Looking to avoid the pitfalls of Driveclub, Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell left this in comment:
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS. But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.
Looking to deliver on their reputation of beauty and style, Project CARS will now launch nearly 20 days later to hopefully work on server issues before the title’s release.
