Fresh off the heels of the Super Bowl halftime show, Katy Perry will soon light up your gaming world anywhere you go thanks to the celebrity success and proper design in “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”. With a 78% boost in Glu stocks during the fourth quarter of 2014, Glu mobile will use the Katy Perry brand to continue in the celebrity-backed run.
While the Kim Kardashian title focused on the lifestyles of Kimmy with parties, paparazzi and luxury homes, look for Katy’s title to likely focus on her life to the same degree. While singing is the focus of Ms. Perry’s lifestyle today, much of the same functionality could help hold followers from the Hollywood title in a spiritual, if not literal sequel.
Having posted over $13 million revenues over their initial projection, and a boosted profit per share more than five times over estimates, look for Glu to work over the scene for as long as possible in the coming year.
