After just over one month into release, the Monsters vs Humans 4-on-1 game that is Evolve will add on two more maps. Coming free of charge, these maps will hit Xbox One before all other platforms – similar to the Call of Duty exclusivity deals that Microsoft has on lock.

Dropping into the world of Evolve for free, late this month Xbox One owners will enjoy the all-new “Broken Hill Mine” and “Broken Hill Foundry” maps. Available for download on March 31st, launching to PC and PS4 April 30th, this is a fresh surprise for Evolve as the title included a blatantly large amount of DLC at launch, to the count of more than 40 pieces. The new DLC will pack in “two totally unique environments” to help vary game play experiences for fans that yearn for more. These new maps will effect the Evacuation campaign as well on launch, allowing for more detail in a game that, for some, feels a bit monotonous.

Developed by the team which created Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios teamed with 2K Games for the creation of Evolve, but it is with the evolution of the title that we find more promise than ever. If Turtle Rock and 2K continue offering free DLC, maybe the outstanding number of paid content options will start to make sense.
